Editing the colour

AFTER EDITING

I decided to drain the colour from these shots as it creates a more bleak atmosphere leading to the arguments

Perspective (new version) Day 4

I added the background music to the ending of my film.

Using GarageBand

I used GarageBand to blur dialogue during the argument.

I hadn't used this software for a while so I used this tool to edit the sound.

Perspective (new version) Day 3

I added the background music during the argument.
I also edited the dialogue using garage band to make it more blurred and harder for the audience to hear.
I did this to create an atmosphere and to make the audience feel like they were trying to listen in to their argument from outside the room.

Background Music

I decided to use these soundtracks I found on YouTube. I like the slow and low toned music to create suspense and mystery for the audience during the arguments.

Perspective (new version) Day 2

I filmed the first argument.
I placed the camera outside the room as I didn't want to give too much of the hidden storyline away.

Perspective (New Version) Day 1

First day of re-filming my short film.
I improved the filming of this scene by using over the shoulder shots as they are in conversation.
Close ups are also being used for the more intense dialogue.

Changing My Actress

I came to the decision to change my actress as it was difficult to find time to film and plan with our schedules.

I will now be using Jade Knaggs. We have similar schedules so we have more free time together to film.

Script Draft

I written a rough script for Chloe and Matthew to follow as I found they were more successful improvising with their dialogue to create a more intense and realistic performance.

The camera will be mainly hand held when filming these scenes to create the effect that the audience is in the room with the couple arguing. A mix of long shots, close ups and extreme close ups will be used to show the intense argument.
